Where the Name Comes From
At Black Cap Land & Cattle, we believe great beef begins with great stewardship. Nestled in the rolling countryside of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, proudly known as the Mushroom Capital of the World, our family-owned farm is dedicated to raising premium Black Angus cattle while caring for the land that sustains us.
As a first-year cattle operation, we're building our business on timeless values: hard work, honesty, and a commitment to producing exceptional beef. Every decision we make is centered on the health and well-being of our animals, the quality of our products, and the trust of the families we serve.
In addition to raising Black Angus cattle, we proudly farm and sell quality hay and straw for local farms, horse owners, and agricultural operations throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Producing dependable forage products is another way we serve our community while making the most of the land we're privileged to steward.
We believe in responsible land management, humane animal care, and raising cattle the right way, not the easy way. Our Black Angus cattle are carefully managed to produce flavorful, high-quality beef that reflects the dedication we put into our farm every day.

How We Work
We handle our cattle and hay the same way our neighbors have for generations, on our own land, with our own hands, sold straight to the people who'll use it.
Every animal and every bale comes off our own pasture and fields right here in Kennett Square, not shipped in from somewhere else.
You talk to us, not a distributor. Orders, pricing, and pickup are handled farm to family.
